How does this work out (seq no)

I just checked in for a KL flight from OSL and did the same last week and both times I received seq no 008. AFAIK it is not possible to check in any other way than T-29h59m59s. Since this flight would be the first for anyone travelling KLM how can the number be this high? It has only happened to me after KLM changed systems.

Anyone got any insight?

Good question. On flights from AMS then it's possible because people with connections can through check-in 30 hours before their first flight departs.

From OSL I don't think KLM have any connections there. Perhaps it's people doing day returns from AMS - I think if you're returning the same day you can check in for the whole lot.
