Globe Assistant

I just found it out on KLM website http://www.klm.com/travel/nl_nl/spec...=nl&intlang=NL

You click on the GlobeAssistant button and, provided that Google Earth is installed, all airport served by KLM are displayed, with the lowest fare from AMS.

It would be nice to have more options, such as seeing schedules, availability, prices and routing directly from Google Earth (something like "from here ... to here...").

What do you think?

Well, should I say "typical for KLM"? Obviously it doesn't work on my Mac, although they say that it should...

Works on my aging iBook but the file was not associated with Google Earth so I had to open Google Earth first and import the file into it

I see that they have taken the opportunity to ensure that all the information they provide is up-to-date, for example referring to JNB as Jan Smuts.

Now when was that airport last called by that name again? 1994?

I had a pilot the other day who happily announced that we were landing at Jan Smuts...
