I'm a PE Trying to book some tickets DUB-(AMS)-TPE-BKK-(AMS)-DUB

Helpdesk advising all are OK except BKK-AMS, but when I check on the website for same day (by looking up say AMS-BKK return or AMS-TPE return) the days are available. Agent is saying they're not available (then she says "Oh something might be available as your PE, but I can't tell for sure and only way is to start again (i.e. lose the DUB-AMS that's already confirmed)

Thoughts ?

They should let us redeem drugs to deal with the stress of going thru all this...

They use KLM to get you to AMS or I guess air Fungus from Dublin.

I have completely given up with them on this route. I have even had confirmed reservations in C and been bumped out.

The flight is so busy they are always selling the crew seats between BKK and AMS.
The service is usually lousy and the movies they show are so old that some of them are now on re-release.

Seriously it is a joke on this flight. Even as a PE they have very small allocation for awards and dont be suprised if they bump you. I go every month and in the last three months have been bumped twice.

yes but I did get the miles back

Was the bumping down to a late check in or merely the fact that you held an award ticket against a fare paying passenger?

Fare paying passenger (3 of them actually) and I was aksed very nicely, they were travelling back on a full flight from BKK to AMS in an emergency. I boarded at TPE and was one of the first to check in so I guess they struck lucky. What amazed me is that they bought 3 WBC tickets and two of them sat on crew seats. I had been asigned a seat at the front section of Y and the lady on the crew seat thanked me for what I had done.
