I really, really, really hate KL sometimes
Just wanted to get that off my chest.
I am taking two friends on a whirlwind tour of the US BCN-AMS-MSP(don't ask)-LAS-SEA-AMS-BCN. I actually managed to get a decent though not amazing fare from Expedia of around $1100. Of course, it can only be purchased with a US credit card which I no longer have.
No problem, I think. The flights are all KL codeshares on NW metal so I'll just go to KLM.com and book it there.
As if.
I managed to get the first flight, which arrives into AMS at 1300. When I select the next flight (KL6055), the web site gives me the finger and tells me that departures aren't allowed before 20:20. ...? I suppose I could call them but an educated guess based on information in this forum tells me that is liable to exacerbate the problem.
These people really just cannot manage. I honestly wonder how they ever get a plane off the ground.
OK, rant over. We can now return to our regular *****ing about prison matrons, idiots on the telephone, and disappearing lounges.

Thanks Jenbel - Opodo doesn't work in Spain yet
- next year, they say.
On a whim I put in my dates and times to eDreams.es and up popped a perfect itin on Delta for about $800.
And I can pay right here with no hassles.
So now I have to decide: to I keep trying with KL because I want the miles, or switch to DL <shudder>, where I will probably get what, 25% status miles or something? Trans-atlantic in a 767 in Y. Oh joy.
Sorry, I am just a bit frustrated right now!
