Moving to BA

I have had some really bad experience with KLM and am thinking about moving all my business to BA. I am a PE until 2009 or something, but Blue with BA. Is there a way to get the same status with BA as I have with KLM - suggestions how to handle this?

Unless your company can convince BA's sales team of a huge yearly spend, you will get nowhere. There is a thread about this on the BA forum.

Don't forget also, that you won't get status miles unless you're flying C or full-fare Y.

Would that be the same for BMI? There must be a way to get rid of KLM?

bmi do comp from time to time. Best to look on the bmi boards - there's a thread on it there, too...

There's always easyJet

Any chance you could get a comp to United (for BD) or AA (for BA)??

As I said on the other thread on the Midland board, you could apply to UA for a comped Star Gold card while you earn your BD Gold.

In fact, as with pmcg, you could still use your PE card for lounge access even though you're earning status with Star Alliance.

BA do NOT comp unless your BA account manager is convinced you will be any use to them, we are talking 10's of K's here.

BMI do comp BA gold onto their own gold level.
