WebAward Question

Are webawards only good ex AMS or is the feeder flight to AMS also included - e.g. FRA-AMS-LAX vs. AMS-LAX only? I know that "ordinary" awards are now region based but on the German website, the webaward to LAX is only listed with AMS as the departure airport. Any info or experiences? Thanks.

CPH-AMS-LAX works with 50% discount in C, so I guess European feeder flights are included in the offer.

It is region to region, unless otherwise mentioned. The LAX service is bookable from all european airports and KLM`s interpretation of europe is very liberal...

If you scroll down the Web@wards chart you will find some destination, which are only reduced to/from AMS or FRA, for example FRA-DTW-FRA for 60000/37500 miles....

Wow! That would be a pretty stunning use of 22500 miles.

It includes the feeder flight, just punch your trip in on the award booking engine and you'll see it .

Just took advantage of this great deal - and as you said, the feeder flight was included. The KLM website was not very specific about this and thus I was confused and had to ask. Thanks guys.
