Exchange FD points

Hi,

I am not really able to use my FD points anymore as KLM stopped serving my hometown. Does anyone know a way to trasfer FD points to any program like Worldperks or HiltonHonors? Does anyone know if the new codeshare program with NWA might help me soon?

I figured out that I migth be able to get the FD points into Worldperks if I would have an US address (which is temporarily true). From the HiltonHonors website I understood that it is possible to convert Continental (Worldperks) to HiltonHonors. Does anyone knows if this will really work?

Thanks for your help!
Jens

You can transfer into worldperks by signing up for WP with a US address and request your points to be transfered by FD. You loose about 60% by transfering WP miles into HH!

Oliver,

so what would you do if you are not really able to use the FD points? Any idea? I would take a 2 week car rental for vacation, but KLM does not offer it.

Or if you really are not able to use the points: Book a flight for another person and gift the ticket to him/her. This is a good worth of points if you look for a journey worth to be booked as award (such as C-Class to the US with the 25% offer or a flight to Nice for those ridiculously few points...).
