KLM dinner
Last night had dinner with KLMuk webmaster as well as another KLM staff member, which was to ask us what we want out of the KLMuk website ( forum particularly - now temporarily gone ! ).
I would say that from my understanding of what was said was that due to the 2 recent major public losses of face that KLM has had - re AZ split, and BA nogo, they are working feverishly behind the scenes and that when any deal is announced.....
It will be done, signed, sealed and being put into operation.
A most interesting evening was had by all, and it was a pleasure to meet some of my fellow RW/KLMuk forumers.
Thanks KLM/KLMuk !

Hi Chris
I gave up on the KLM forum a long time ago. A change of job meant I no longer had to suffer long-haul and inter-Europe flights so my use of KLM for the last 18 months has been zero. I have enough FD points to keep my RW card for another two years though!!
I received Mirabel's invite but unfortuntely I had prior comittments in Edinburh and could not make it. Sounds like I missed an interesting night!

Although not being a real FD-royalwing I tend to use this nickname sometimes. Great to hear that the evening was most enjoyable and useful. I also received the invitation.

I also missed out on the dinner....sadly, it was rather short notice...is it likely to be repeated, at least annually do you know ?
BTY, the current FD promotion for our friends in Holland only, really pees me off...once again, the UK membership are denied any chance of a bonus.....say no more.

"Gaza",
I asked if we "northerners" could have a dinner in Edinburgh or Glasgow - would make up for all the promises about meetings which were made some time ago - remember "grounded Flying Dutchman" times. Good to read Chris's comments re London dinner.
Regards, Wilma

Good to see you here !
Whoever's idea it was to make the dinner an annual event was quite a good one.
I'll second that !
