How to book on the web from the US?

Hi, I'm a AF Rouge and now FB Platinum member, based in the US. I want to book a roundtrip, LAX-LYS. I know KLM flies LAX-AMS and KLM Cityhopper flies AMS to LYS. So I went to KLM.com and after saying my flight begins in the US, it redirected me to the NWA website. So I entered in LAX to LYS and it says there is no such flights for those cities?

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to book this on the KLM website?

No, the NWA.com site often displays this error. Even for travel between 2 destinations that have KL and NW own-metal service Workarounds include searching by schedule (assuming you've been searching by fare) and using (an) intermediate points (e.g.,AMS or CDG).

Thanks Terenz, searching by schedule did the trick. Unfortunately the fares aren't any better than AF or anyone else.

It will be interesting to see how KL will do operational upgrades for FB Platinum. I am upgraded on AF perhaps 50% of the time as Rouge. I would guess that NW wouldn't upgrade FB's at all?

NW treat FD Plats more or less as its own elites. Not sure whether this will remain so under FB.
