Listing of Video Programs

Does anyone know if there is a place on the KLM site where there is a listing of what is on offer for the individual video on the 777s? I once saw a reference to a link that purported to provide that information, but it only seemed to list the movies being shown on the flights without the individual video.

Welcome to KLM's interactive entertainment system

An amazing choice of entertainment, whenever you want it.

Over 80 movies at the touch of your fingertips.
Hundreds of music tracks.
Specially created music programmes.
Create your very own music playlist.
Kids get their own K:TV channel.
Games you can play on your own or with fellow passengers.

apperantly the're supposed to be over 80 movies at the touch of your fingertips, as I haven't flown one of these 777's before, I cann't confirm this....so maybe the're to many to list on the klm-site?

and if not, the c-class movies on the flights without the economy-interactive-entertainment-system must surely be on the interactive entertainment system in the 777....

I have been on these flights before. I know everyone here likes to trash KLM, but KLM is untrashable on this. The system is fantastic, far better than the NW system on the new NW Airbuses. Many movies, including recent movies that you would actually want to see, classics (e.g., Casablanca), TV shows (e.g., Sex in the City), all capable of being started, stopped, and paused at will. And, very significantly, NO CENSORSHIP!

There are a few downsides, though. On my last flight to NRT, the cabin staff wasn't able to get the system operational for some reason. That meant no IFE on the 11+ hrs. flight. Also, when the person in front of you decides to recline his / her seat, you can't see the screen properly. I agree that the system itself is a gem.

I had the problem of not being able to see the screen on the NW Airbus, I thought particularly the fact that I was taller than average made the angle even worse.

On every flight thus far on the KLM 777 I have been in row 10, where the screen comes out on an arm as in WBC, so no angle problems.

Also for 11C/G and WBC. If you happen to be a LOTR geek the time just flies by!

Looks like I have now answered my own question. If one goes to the KLM website, click on KLM Services|Intercontinental|Inflight Entertainment, and then you select city pairs with 777 service, then click on the flight, you will end up at the listing. To complicate things further, the flight for the market I was looking for was listed twice, with the first not having the IFE information, and the second one having it. It seems that it is possible to access the listings directly by going to http://217.154.125.12/avod/gui_system/index.asp.

The online listing is nice, but it would be even nicer if KL would provided a printed program in the seat pocket. Not all passengers will have had the time and opportunity to peruse the list online, most will probably not even know about it. Given the large number of choices, I should prefer to have a list to read before take-off, instead of having to spend ten minutes paging throught all the menus once the system has been switched on some time after departure.

Agree the new 777 IFE is excellent - just unfortunate many of the same films are shown month after month....
