Is it me, or does it seem as if there are a lot of web-discounts at the moment?
In the past six months I saw some prety good (25-50% off) deals on the web-awards page, I didn't use any of them as my destinations were not included.
Are they trying to cash in/"reclaim" as many miles as possible before the "big" merger?

There are always many web awards this time of the year. Don't forget that this a (s)low travel season in most of the world. (except China and other countries that celebrate Lunar New Year)
