Paper Statements.

Can someone please remind me how to go back to paper statements ? I have a dispute going back 4 months and now I have no way of getting at my past record.

I didn't realise there was a way of opting out of paper statements... I get my details online and by way of paper statement which I thought was the norm.

I was missing a statement a couple of years ago (round about the change-over from the old system to the new), and I needed the information to claim missing points/miles, and it had all disappeared from my online account... After repeat requests for a copy of the missing statement they eventually told me that while the information was on their computer they had no way of printing it out (!!!) and that the only thing they could do is read it all out to me over the phone. Don't know if I just had an incompetent agent or if it had something to do with the change-over or if their system is really that bad!

FD is one program whose paper statements I wouldn't opt out of, as they are sometimes more up to date than the online version. And we all know how timely the FD mailings are...

As far as I know there is no way to opt out of paper statements. May be an idea to check your address in you profile and also ask FD for copies (OK I said ask, didn't say you would get them).
