KLM to malaga??

Has anyone ever used KLM for this route?

If so how much was the cheapest ticket that you found? I cant find nothing cheaper then Ł220 + Tax

Anyone succesfully booked a webaward to malaga?

The klm engine bring up KLM flights from Paris, which i guess is better then changing flights in spain.

KL does not fly to AGP, but they codeshare ex CDG with AF and ex-MAD/BCN with UX (Air Europa).

In both cases, your itinerary must start/end in AMS or beyond to have a KL-code on the CDG/MAD-AGP segment.

ex UK, it probably makes more sense to fly the whole way with AF (via CDG)at GBP159+tax ex NCL.

Alternatively, ex-LGW, UX has a fare at GBP108+tax (via MAD or PMI)

easyjet, cheaper and I think they go from NCL direct, cleaner planes, better planes, nicer staff, more legroom - need I say more

EZY do indeed fly NCL-AGP direct (one daily flight early morning), although not necessarily more cheaply

Does not make any sense to go and hang around in Amsterdam when yoou could be basking in the sun sipping the old San Miguel. All in all EZY are street ahead of KLM now in terms of making a flight enjoyable.

Yep they do have a daily flight at 6ish in the morning. But i need to fly next week and the tickets are coming in at Ł150 + In my experiance they are normally only cheap if you book well in advance.

So was just thinking about what my alternatives were.... If i am going to pay so much money then i might aswell be earning miles aswell (yep i hate flying unless i am earning miles)

Need just two more flights before the end of this month with KLM to hit the target for the promotion that they ran a couple of months back for 15,000 extra miles.

Yep, KLM sent me a leaflet in the post a couple of months back (and a few other FD members aswell, as there was a post on this) basically if i made 8 flights with KLM or its members before the end of june i would get 15,000 bonus miles.

Some members were offered less miles with less flights and some were offered more miles with more flights.

When did this promotion start? I did not receive the leaflet but have completed 8 flights and have earned around 20000 miles. Thanks

I am well over 120k status miles and 30 segments this year. I am trying to make PE for 2006 (according to the rules I'll have to make another 55k this year, which is a piece of cake). Would have been nice though to participate in this promotion. I will be flying less frequent from next year, but then again, the new AF/KL FFP won't bring much good I'm afraid...

There was a thread started on this a while back. Click here

The leaflet is dated March 18th.

Basically it says -

Fly slightly more than usual and recieve 15,000 bonus miles

Its my pleasure to inform you that you have been selected for an exclusive FD promotion.

Since you fly more then most, we would like to reward you more than most. You will recieve 15000 bonus award miles on top of your regular miles, if you board 8 times with KLM or FD partners between April 1 and June 30, 2004.

Rip, wondering whether you could send me a copy of this leaflet. I did not receive it even though I am a PE and flew with them several times in Jan/Feb/Mar . Would try giving them a call after June and try getting the miles credited . I have flown with them six times in April and May. Does the promotion mention any bonus miles for flying six long haul flights?

Thanks.

I haven't received this . How targeted can it be as you're PE and in the UK same as me !. Who else did or didn't get this ?.

I notice it says 'board' 8 times. I've flown 6 paid legs and done MAN-AMS-CAI on an award, so according to that I've 'qualified'. Anyone want to bet on the chances of them accepting that ?.
