Even though I frequent Schipol multiple times a month, I've never used the security departures 1A entry point/filter at the far end of the Schengen gates (closer-ish to B gates), which according to the official map (https://www.schiphol.nl/en/airport-maps) is open and functioning. I have an upcoming flight predicted to depart from the B gates and will probably have rush to catch the plane, so a couple of questions:

1) Is security open at 1A on a Sunday around 7pm?
2) Is there a priority lane for KLM status/privium?

Should be open, don't see why not. Vueling and Iberia flights are checked in in 1A nowadays.

Apologies if this is not the right place on FT, but as of February 28, 2024 Uber & Bolt have a new dedicated pick-up point at Schiphol.
When you exit the main arrival buidling (Schiphol Plaza), taxi app users need to go left and walk towards the ATC tower.

Peak Schiphol today, the priority security 1 is just flat out closed. Luckily not many people, but pretty poor.
