Certainly a revelation. I just hope such indecent exposure of internal policy doesn't get the employee in trouble. They are all but naked for the wrath of violations of corporate policy. Fortunately, KLM hasn't exactly been in pole position for striking such 'leaks' down. It's likely nobody will be stripped of their career here.

Unfortunately!

+4 full freight versions

So, 777 for the self loading freight. But still flying 747 to JNB for regular freight e.g. PH-CKC, all in MP colors now though.

I'll take a 747 any day, but not if I have to travel in a container.

I don't know, freight ULDs are bigger than any 1st class seat/cabin I know.

Toss me in a ULD with an ipad, a sleeping bag and ample alcohol. Punch some air holes and I'm good to go.

Have a couple of 747 flights coming up to LAX, NBO and CUR. I like to look out of the window and see 2 engines on the wing. Even if they are old... I like 4 engines for longhaul!

Your options are decreasing almost by the day.

Had to move from a 747 flight to a 787 on Tuesday. Unfortunate, though I do love that SFO remains a 747 route.

Doing a 747 route on the return leg from YYZ in a few weeks. Hoping for the chance of an upgrade to check out the business cabin.

The fleet has now officially dropped to 12, PH-BFC completed its last revenue flight half an hour ago.

ICN is still 747 (Combi I think, I don't usually go that far back).

Do you know of any good deals on 747 routes, particularly in Business? I'd like to try and fly in the hump before they get totally lost.

I have a IST-AMS-ICN (RT) trip coming and both legs between AMS & ICN will be in a 747 combi according to the booking I have. I even managed to snatch 4E on the way to ICN (and I believe 4E was also available on the way back but I wanted to travel upstairs since I have not done so in 15-20 years).

Just booked a return to Hong Kong for late summer, changed the dates to be on KL747 flights. My son 11 likes 4 engines especially how they wiggle during take off.
