Upgrade with miles option in Klm app

I have just checked my upcoming flights to the US on my iPhone app, and Klm has added a button "upgrade with miles" just above "change flight" in view booking details.

I clicked and was transferred to something that looked like the award booking page from Klm/AF.

It's certainly the first time I have seen that button and I would very much encourage this option to become available on all flights...

Anyone else has seen this before? And was anyone able to actually upgrade successfully with this option?
