Glad to see I'm not the only one disliking QR's seat. I pay almost double QR's fare to avoid the 787 Y seat on my 'regular' flight.

Glad to see the 789 coming our way. As UK-BAH is the route I spend the vast majority of my time flying on, I'll make sure to travel on the 789 in WBC soon after the route is introduced.

It is interesting to see that the BAH flights were, up to 2007, served with 767s, then the A330 and now the 787!

Sure, as usual, Business Class looks great on the Dreamliner, but for us poor ones who have to fly coach or premium coach, 9 ab means more sardine can treatment. What a pity airlines have to cram so many coach passengers into that aircraft to make it work....

First dreamliner flight for KL.

Anybody else on this flight?

Thought of it too late to actually book a seat on this flight. Could still get a Y seat for 28.000 and € 45,-. Just booked it and see what happens. Never been on a inaugural flight.

Called KL to ask if they know what they are actually are going to do for the inaugural flight.

According to messages on Twitter, the delivery of the first Dreamliner is delayed until November.

Confirmed. Unfortunately, the 'inaugural' will now be operated by an A330...

Feel sorry for the people who bought tickets especially for the 789.

First flight now scheduled with a 789 is 16th of November, when searching on KL website

Yep, is costing me 45e to cancel.

Seems Y is 34.000 and C is 90.000 miles for the flight.

The delay is allegedly due to seat certification issues.

Unfortunately, now also on 16 and 18 november the A330 is scheduled.
On the website the first 789-flight to Abu Dhabi seems to be on 22 November.. Strange that they postpone the first flight several times. I wonder what would be the status of the seat issue of the KLM Dreamliner..
Hopefully the problem will be solved soon. I fly to Abu Dhabi after Christmas in Business :-)

Edit: Apologies for confusion. On 16 and 18 november the 789 seem to fly already to Bahrein, without a stop in Abu Dhabi. Apologies for the confusion..
