Incorrect name on flight ticket

I contacted with my agency and asked for a flight ticket. I gave my name, birthday and the travel direction from Edinburgh to Beijing. She sent a reservation form and then I agreed and received the ticket. but when I entered the KLM web-site, I realized that my middle name was mistakenly registered as MIDDLENAMELASTNAME / FIRSTNAME so basically she put my middle and last names together. She told me that she sent me a reservation for review, and I agreed it buy how I can understand the mistake just from the reservation form since I told her my correct name. Any ideas for my situation? thanks.

I am fairly sure this is how it is supposed to be. The ticket can only show two names. Since you have three, two of them will be merged together.

What does the reservation look like that you received for review? Doesn't that have the first, middle and last name correctly?

You would expect it to read:

LASTNAME/FIRSTNAME MIDDLENAME

Does your middle name appear in your passport?

When was the ticket issued? KLM allows names to be corrected for free for 24 hours after being issued.

I presume you have asked your travel agent to correct the name, and that they apparently refused. What reasons did they give?

The names are correct no problem but they merged middle name and surname together. If I remember correctly, they always merge them on the reservation forms and tickets even if in reality there should be a space between all of them.Right now I am using my middlename+surname while I am checking my reservation on KLM website.

So, basically, there is no problem?

My middle name appears in my passport. The form on the ticket is

MIDDLENAMESURNAME/ FIRSTNAME

The ticket was issued around 2 weeks ago. I asked for the agency and they told me that this issue has been reported to KLM, and they hope that there will be no problem about that. I only checked spelling mistakes on my reservation and gave them my full name again and again but I could not realize that the format should be LASTNAME/FIRSTNAME MIDDLENAME.

However, even though they merged them on the ticket, my middle name is on surname side not on the firstname side.

You need to contact KLM - you probably need to have it fixed and there are some admin costs involved with that.

A few years ago a travel agent had switched my first and last name and I did not notice it (I could not find my reservation though in MMB). When I checked in at AMS they sent me first to the ticket office to have the error corrected; they could not issue me a boarding pass because it had the wrong last name. I believe the price was 35 or 50 euros.
