EML and Same Day Confirmed Change
I'm flying to MCO for xmas and I'm thinking that I'm going to upgrade to EML. However on the return, I have a connection in IAD. MCO-IAD-JFK. If good seats are available on a non-stop, I am going to do a same day confirmed change. I'm wondering if I'd loose my $20 upgrade fee from MCO-IAD.

I called to upgrade JFK-MCO to EML because for some reason I couldn't use my trueblue credit to upgrade online. So I asked the agent and was told that I would be switched to an EML seat if available or refunded if it was not available.
