IAD Test Flight???

I was looking at the IAD departures webpage and noticed this under Jetblue

Destination: Test Flight Flight #: Jetblue 951 Departure: 417pm
Arrival: 457pm Status: 457pm Gate: B62

Jetblue.com and Flight Aware don't show a flight 951 so it may just be a mistake.

Does anyone know anything about this? Testing Gate B62? Super secret new aircraft?

I believe any flight starting with the number 9 indicates a flight without customers. Due to the length of the flight, I'm guessing it's a MX flight. Ya know, testing the aircraft after maintance.

Not sure what it was - MX is a good guess, but as for as flight numbers beginning with 9 not carrying customers, I believe the ORD flights are in the 9-series.

Yea, your right. I was thinking of our personal flight schedules, not what's published for the customers.

I'm just putting the FUN back in dysFUNctional.
