I just looked at the route map for the first time. Nantucket?!?!?! Has anyone here ever flown this route?

it's a code share

Hi hi,

All of the flights to Provincetown, Nantuckett, Martha's Vineyard, etc are served by CapeAir, which JetBlue has a code-share agreement with. I just flew from Boston Logan to Provincetown (it's a small Cessna 402C...seats about 12 people for the 20 minute flight). JetBlue and CapeAir share the same wing of the terminal and full ticketing and baggagehandling agreements with each other, going both directions.

No, Jet Blue now flies their own metal from JFK to ACK nonstop (in addition to some Cape Air codeshares via BOS).

Actually, all JFK-ACK flights are operated by jetBlue on jetBlue E190 metal. I believe there are 2x in the summer and 1x rest of the year. Other Cape Cod flights are code shared with Cape Air from BOS. Therefore, you can fly JFK-BOS on jetBlue and hop over to Cape Air for the rest of the short trip.

JFK-ACK is served by our Embraer E190 aircraft and is a very quick 30 minute flight. As others have stated we also serve BOS-ACK via our codeshare partner Cape Air and their Cessna 402C aircraft.

I watched a bunch of the Cape Air tiny jets come and go sitting in my rocking chair at Logan... the plane is about a size of a shoe, where the pilot closes his lambo door as he's going to the runway, funny stuff!

PS. I'm sure there's big luggage restrictions on those things.

Flew in June. Service was great--about a 40 minute flight but weather or air traffic can greatly effect time.

No, I don't think about bags restrictions on E190. I think E190 should be just fine as normal baggage restrictions. It wasn't anything a common problems on E190. You will be just fine for that.

I'm sure JerseyVics was refering to luggage restrictions on the Cesnas, not the E190s. I did a Cesna from FLL to NSB a couple years back when the Chalk's Sea Plane wasn't available. They ended up weighing the luggage AND the passengers, and also assigning the seats on the tarmac by having the pilot point to people and put them in specific seats to balance the plane out. And I believe some of the luggage had to wait until the second trip with the rest of the original pax on it.

Flying JetBlue BOS-ACK today, 51 minute flight time, I can't imagine it will take that long.

Flying out of BOS Terminal C, no CLEAR service but TSA pre check was available. On this Monday at 9:30am there were maybe 20 passengers in line

I wasn't paying attention to time, Mrs Willie said flight was less than 30 minutes in the air. I did notice that the plane didn't exceed 11,000 feet.

Even in the way back seats, still decent leg room

So wrong. Jetblue planes taking off and landing from/to ACK fly over us all the time while we are on the south shore beaches of Nantucket.

The post you quoted is from 18 years ago. Things were different back then.

IIRC when ACK started it wasn't a daily flight. So it is a combination
