Flight Status Touch Tone System Has A Bug
I came across an interesting quirk with the JetBlue flight info phone system. Last May my relatives flew PBI-HPN. I called 800-JET-BLUE to get the flight status but I didn't have the flight number in front of me so I put in the departure and arrival cities. The system gives me an error that all flights must originate or end in either LGB, BOS, NY (JFK, EWR or LGA) or IAD.
This is clearly an error in the phone system. I sent JetBlue an email and they said they would forward on my comments. Out of curiosity, I tried again today, and the same error still comes up.
Anybody else come across this?

The system also gets really cranky when you try to look up a hub-to-hub flight, like JFK-BOS or JFK-IAD. It gives you the same error message that all flights must originate or end in either LGB, BOS, NYC or IAD--even though in this instance the flight both originates and ends in one of these cities.
Interestingly, last time I checked the system can handle JFK-LGB flights.
