Schedule Extensions

Greetings,

I am new to Jet Blue. How do they work their schedule extensions? Do they do it similar to Southwest?

JetBlue schedules generly run their schedule 5-8 months out. They don't announce when it is extended, they just do it. Last I heard, the schedules have been extended through January 8th, 2008.

This is the most commonly asked question on here, coming up at least once a week. Seat13C is correct...about 5 to 8 months out, but there is no "formula"

PLEASE, use the search feature!

Nice catch, jetBlueNYFL. This what happens when I work off memory. But, yes, like you said, it is under the research link (FAQ).

I apologize for bothering people with such a silly question. I am new to Jet Blue. The only question about schedule extension I could find during my search was dated March 27, 2006. With Jet Blue still a fairly "new" airline (in my opinion), I just figured maybe things might have changed of the past year regarding their schedule extensions.

13c listed a "FAQ" link. When I did my search of this website, I did not come across that link to flyerguide. I will bookmark that link, thnaks.

Thanks to all that replied.
