Just wondering why B6 has not entered this market, especially considering:
CVG has the 2nd highest airfares in the country
Delta's service to JetBlue's two main east coast markets--JFK and BOS is abysmal. B6's service is far superior to the CRJ's that populate this route.
One would think a couple daily BOS/JFK to CVG flights would do quite well on the E190.
Any thoughts??

I'm sure CVG would work out very well for jetBlue. Delta does, however, have some mainline service to NYC (mainly LGA) and I think CO has mainline to EWR. Not that those factors would not/has not in the past stopped jetBlue.
I would guess the only reason why jetBlue is not currently at CVG is lack of airplanes, crew, etc. I'm sure CVG will welcome jetBlue at some point...maybe it will be one of the ~8 new cities in 2007.

Right. David Neelman has to say will have 8 new cites for this year in 2007. I think MIA would not let hold my breath for this year in 2007. I think B6 will announcement on Monday. You should try to be patience when B6 is current working on it for another cities. Stay Tuned!Originally Posted by jetBlueNYFL
