Bad website!

I used to like the JetBlue website. Now I hate this new design. It is almost impossible to understand jetBlue's product: there are links to book flights, manage flights, travel deals, where we fly and the trueblue FF program, but hard to find any info on seats, snacks, entertainment, drinks, meals (yes we know there are none, but how would the general public?), airport check-in times, baggage limits, or interior or exterior aircraft photos.

This sucks!

Instead of complaining on here did you send an email to the company? The only way we can change things is if we hear from the general public! Copy and paste your comments into an email and shoot it off to jetBlue.

I'm sure he'd love to but can't find the email address on the new site. Sorry couldn't resist

Nothing in life is perfect, but I must say that jetBlue has one of the best sites in the industry mostly due to its simplicity.

Here is a helpful link to the info the OP can't seem to find:

www.jetblue.com/about

Three clicks away from the homepage:
jetblue.com > Contact us > 'Share Concerns' tab

or you could use this link:

http://www.jetblue.com/help/contactu..._problems.aspx

OK, solves a few of my questions - but still no seat map or descriptions of seats. And I eventually found the link off the home page to the "about" section - it is tucked away at the very bottom of the page in small type.

What is really daft about this is that jetBlue has very friendly in-person service, and some of the best leather seats, pitch, and in-seat entertainment in the industry. It is a shame not to better promote these competitive advantages.

Just on a personal note for a comparison on LCC's websites, I think B6's websit is far superior to WN's website.

This link contains info about the comforts of both the E190 and A320, including seat maps foro each:

http://www.jetblue.com/about/whyyoul...whyairbus.html

If what you're talking about is pre-purchase seatmap viewing...this has been discussed to death on this forum. JetBlue will tell you over the phone what seats are available before your purchase a ticket. In addition, I will repeat that I have some great news from a VERY good and reliable source...this feature will soon be introduced (hopefully within a year at most) online. It wiill be available for TrueBlue members!

Many upgrades should be coming when we get the upgrade to our reservation system. The current system can't accomodate many of the perks that other airlines have. Just give it a little bit longer.

Are there more perks, other than viewing the seat map before buying, in the pipeline?

One of the changes I didn't like in the website re-design was not having a prominent link on the homepage about the product. The About JetBlue pages are excellent, and the "Why You'll Like Us" pages answer all of the OP's questions. The homepage really needs something more than the link at the far bottom of the page.

Off the bat... I happen to like the new website. I think it is a step in the right direction and puts the more relevant information that passengers want up front and everything else can be found in the "About jetBlue" link in the bottom right hand corner. I had made a suggestion to the web-team and saw it put into practice, so I can tell you first hand that they are open to suggestions to making the website better. The "SpeakUp" link is right on the top right hand corner of the screen and is very hard to miss. Anyway, hope this was helpful.
