Hi all!
Does anyone have access to info that would give me a sense of the load of the midday flight (178) from Phoenix to New York? Specifically, on Sundays?
Not that it will tell me how it might look in February, but curiosity is getting to me: I booked an award ticket for a Sunday night on the red-eye (180), but would gladly pay the $25 bucks for a same day confirmed ticket on the 178.
And yes, for those wondering, you can do this! I just spoke with a customer service representative who asked her supervisor about this: Even if an award ticket can't be booked due to restrictions in inventory, all of the stand-by rules and options for the earlier flight do apply!

Those of us who have access to that data would likely get fired it we were to disclose it.
If you are really curious though, just call in and ask how a few sundays in a row 'look'. The res agent should be able to tell.

The mid day flights are usually booked pretty heavily. I can imagine the will be that way especially during the holiday season. Remember though, we don't overbook and there is usually 1 or 2 people who don't show up!
