You know, it's very funny you posted this idea. When I first saw these seats in March when visiting the 787 section of the Boeing museum in Seattle, I said "wow...comfort and fuel efficiency in one." I believe there is a company that specializes in manufacturing these slick airline seats...forgot the name but will post a link if I happen to find it.
IIRC, Virgin America is planning to use these seats on its airplanes.
I don't know if jetBLue would go for the headrests and all (although it would be extremely nice!) but if jetBlue chose to go with this then they should do it NOW. And here's why...they can have Airbus (and Embraer??) install these seats in the planes before aircraft deliver, greatly reducing overall costs. For all other aircraft in the B6 fleet, they can just switch the seats to the newer ones. I wonder if it would be possible to use the old (current) PTV screens with these new seats??
I would definitely support this move by jetBlue if they choose to do it...however, sadly I don't think it would happen any time soon.

Don't really care about the headrest... I just like the idea how if the person infront of you recline, the seatback wont end up infront of your face and you have to like adjust your TV screen every time they decide to move their seatback. I too think jetBlue won't be updating their seats but I do like the concept alot.
