E190 Carry-on Question

I have my first B6 flights booked on an E190. Are the overhead luggage bins the same size as a 757 or A320? Will they gladly accept a standard rollaboard? Thanks for the help... I tried the search function and got nothing.

you should be able to fit a standard roll-aboard suitcase, just not wheels first, they have to go in sideways

The above poster is correct, and I believe one side is actually a little larger than the other. Also, since the bins are somewhat smaller causing the bags to go sideways (long way), if the flight is packed, expect for some to be gate checked.

If you want to experience the best out TVs and XM Radio has to offer then I would suggest you BYO. The headsets that we hand out on the aircraft, while adequate, don't deliver the ultimate experience. The plugs accept all standard headset plugs, Bose, Sony, ect.

Hmm...just flew RT JFK-BOS, which is about as short as they come, and there was most definitely a bin full of headphones at the entry to the jetway (along with a cutesy sign to tell you that yours are probably better) and the FAs passed through to give headphones onboard to anyone who had missed the bin.

As for the carry-on question, most definitely a decent sized overhead bin. Don't think RJ - these are definitely better. Standard sized rollaboard definitely fits horizontally.

If I am interpretting the employee's quote correctly, they still handout the free headphones on the short flights, but I believe that they don't sell the higher quality headphones on the shorter flights.

We do not sell the upgraded headsets onboard. The only headsets that we give out on board are the really cheap ones. So to answer your question, we do give them out onboard, just not the upgraded ones.
