PIT-LGB (or BUR or SNA) would be a hit as the US flts are jammed always and have been since service was cut after 911 and further still in Nov 2004. JetBlue could undercut US fares, still make a nice profit and fill the planes. 3x day to the west coast on the A320. I for one could be on that flight RT 2x month. Otherwise, PIT-IAD would be OK, but PIT_JFK less appealling because your are usually backtracking to a destination and I am not a big fan ofthe east coast airspace traffic delays. PIT-FLL would also be nice.

I would expect PIT-JFK only at this point -- while it is backtracking for connections, it's only a little worse than BUF and there is plenty of O/D traffic. If there is money to be made flying nonstop to SoCal or FLL, WN would already be doing it. It's very hard to compete with US when US doesn't have to turn a profit.
