How Are Loads on B6 LGB-JFK?

I've noticed the last 3 flights to/from LGB on AA that they've been the lightest since I started flying the route 15 months ago. Is Jet Blue seeing the same thing?

Jetblue seems to be showing much higher loads than AA.

Yeah, I'm curious about this too -- mostly from an investment perspective. This is now an array of cheap leisure and business fares from JFK to LAX on the airline of your choice. With 7 days, you can fly this month for $99 each way. These advance purchase fares tend to be cheaper than what JBLU is offering to LGB. On a walkup basis, JBLU seems to have a lot more $150 fares available than they used to.

So what's the consensus -- is the competition affecting JBLU, or are its customers remaining loyal?

People like me selected JetBlue b/c of pricing first and foremost. I can only speak from my experience. I prefer to fly JetBlue than most other carriers as their seats offer a little bit more room, they tend to have very few late arrivals, and I love their satellite TV. To me, their coach experience is one of the best for domestic flights.

That said, if their competitors offer to me a convincing cost savings (and that is all relative), then I will move off JetBlue and fly the other airline for that flight.
