Blue Basic Awards
Today I learned that JetBlue has finally rolled out Blue Basic award tickets. I always appreciated that this didn't exist and I could look at award availability knowing that it would be a regular Blue fare. This is no longer the case. I'm sure this has been out some time already and I am just late to the party, and I'm aware other airlines have been doing this for a while and JetBlue is (as usual) just catching up.
Here's the comparison they have in the booking process:
The tough part for me is that Blue Basic awards cannot be canceled or changed without a fee. I was looking at LGA-MCO for August and it was 11,100 points for Blue Basic or 12,400 for Blue.
