checked baggage question

if i select a blue plus fare, which comes with 1 checked bag free per person, and i book with my jetblue plus card, do i get an additional checked bag free?

The fare type is now called "Blue Extra" and the answer is no. You only get the first bag free with the card. If the fare type you choose includes a checked bag, then the benefit is just redundant. The two benefits are not additive.
