Move to Mint automatic upgrade not working

Hi - I'm a Mosaic Level 3 and have the 4 Move to Mint certificates that are supposed to be automatic upgrades. I have had a couple of occassions where I'm flying on aircraft with Mint and there are available Mint seats but the 'automatic' upgrade doesn't occur (I end up keeping my EMS exit row seat) When I call the Mosaic support line to ask about this, most of them are not really aware how the Move to Mint program works. From what I understand, the upgrades are supposed to happen between 24 - 48 hours before the flight but that has not been my experience. Does anyone know how to force a manual upgrade to Mint using these certificates? Thus far into the new Mosaic program, this perk doesn't seem to be that helpful if the certificates can't be used.

Note that while at SEA airport, I asked the ticket counter about this problem. They said that because I was ticketed within 96 hours of the flight (which was true), then the 'move to mint' automatic upgrade won't work. Apparently you have to be ticketed at least 96 hours before the flight in order for the auto upgrade to work. Of course, this subtle detail isn't anywhere in the Mosaic terms on jetblue.com that I could find. Neither the ticket counter or gate agent was able to 'force' a manual upgrade using the move to mint certificates. Pretty frustrating that after 3 separate calls to the Mosaic hot line prior to the flight, no one seems to know how the process actually works.

I agree - training for employees has been poor and it's like pulling teeth to use any of the "Perks You Pick". I'm Mosaic 2 and I had to call or chat 3 times to be able to use my "Mint Suite Priority" perk to get the last throne seat on an upcoming EWR-LAX flight. Most agents are clueless "I can't book that seat, it's blocked, maybe it's broken."

To answer your question re Move to Mint - it's explained right here one the website: https://www.jetblue.com/trueblue/perks
I agree it's uncompetitive having to book 96 hours in advance...

I assume "made directly" just means it is B6 marketed, or does it need to be b6 stock as well? And regardless of booking channel (OTA).

Seems to be pretty clear - excludes codeshares, partner bookings, etc. Gotta buy from JetBlue POS on 279 stock (no OTA).

Does move-to-mint work with flights made with jetblue points (award flights) on jetblue.com itself / jetblue metal?
