under subpoena - can I cancel basic ticket?

Hey All,

I've been placed under subpoena and have to testify in a federal court case in Washington, DC Tuesday. However, I have a flight from JFK to PDX for a family trip on Sunday night and I will need to cancel the trip now. Does anyone know what Jetblue's policies would be in a case like this? Would it be easy to cancel the ticket?

Assuming you did not did not book a Blue Basic fare then you should get a travel bank credit for the full amount of the flight:

Post title states its a Basic fare if I were the OP Id try calling in and seeing if theres any sort of flexibility / exemption, else its going to be a travel credit minus $200 cancel fee

Ah yes, sorry. If the Blue Basic booking was made before 6/7/21 then there is no fee. If made after this date, then truncated is right. Best to call and plead your case.
