Carry-on chances.

I have a basic fare for this Sunday EWR>MIA. I am in Row 8. I plan to bring a carry-on. I actually purchased 3 seats for me and my wife to social distance ($75 r/t). I know we are final boarding and I'd hate to bring my carry-on on and then have to check it do to no room. We are not checking luggage. So my questions are: In Row 8 will I be the last of the basics to board? And with the available seats below do they still have to assign basics their seats? Oh, the other thing I would hate if they took my carry-on and stowed it in the back of the plane Then I would have to wait to get off the plane.

On most of my B6 flights the bins in the back were full way before those in the front. Your flight doesnt look as if its even near being soldout, and if it should be then the GA will make tons of announcements to get folks to gate check their bags for $0 and usually gets more then enough. Now a few weeks ago when almost every seat went out full that would have been different

Just make sure your bags can fit under the seat. You have the extra seat so you really only need to get one bag in the overhead

from my experience, try to board as soon as possible, in any way possible...half my flight to ecuador was on board and the bins were already full, due to the gate agents not going around properly and checking in bags...
