ground transportation vouchers
A flight I was on from MCO to BDL last night was cancelled and given the recent snowstorm, options to BDL were booked solid so I rerouted to JFK in a couple hours. The gate agent said they would offer ground transportation vouchers at JFK and I should be able to take a taxi to Bradley (my car is there). I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with these vouchers and if it really would work for a 2 hour trip in this case? Thanks

So to be my own data point, the b6 agents at the baggage service office called a Lyft via some sort of computer/web-based platform. They needed my cell # and then I received a text 5 minutes later saying the Lyft was en route and now I’m halfway through my 2.5 hour ride to BDL.
