15% TrueBlue Points Redemption Returned

https://trueblue.jetblue.com/web/trueblue/15rebate2017

- Register and book by 11/14 for flights though 2/14/18
- Book with points and get 15% of those points re-deposited to your account 4-6 weeks after the end of the promotion on 2/14/18
- If you're also a JetBlue Mastercard holder, you'll get 25% of the points back

Not a bad deal at all, especially since it's valid for holiday travel.

Well I wish I had this about 3 weeks ago when I burned miles for Thanksgiving and Christmas travel. Oh well.

I booked an award flight 3 days before this offer

At least I still get the 10% from the Plus Card, though 25 would have been nice!

Activate your offer and then check your flight points cost. If the cost is lower, call 1-800-jetblue and rebook it for a lower cost. Should count as a new booking since they refund the points, cancel the itinerary, and book it as a new flight.

Alternatively, just call them and ask. It can't hurt, since it's in the 14-day price window.

The base points price is still the same because it's a 15% rebate, not discount. The points are returned after you fly. The 14-day window doesn't apply, sadly!

But I could call with kindness and see what happens.

I'm sorry, I meant to say check to see if the actual fare price went down. Presumably if they rebook it at the new, lower points cost the new booking would also qualify for the rebate afterwards!

Ah yes. The price is the same though!
It's not that big of a deal. It's a small flight so the number of points is minimal. Still would have been nice to save a bit!
