First time JB flyer...

The wife and I are heading to St. Lucia next week and it's our first time on JB. We're considering spending the extra money to upgrade but wanted to ask some opinions from some vets, is it worth it? What am I really getting besides the extra leg room. Thanks!

Are you tall? If over 5'9, spend the money. The extra room makes a difference. That's really all it is, extra room.

Get two aisles seats across from each other (rather than one of you being in the middle).

I believe you get to board earlier but otherwise it's only extra legroom. I'm 6'2 and have never had a legroom issue in the standard Jetblue seats unlike on most other carriers. If it's more than a 3 hour flight then it might be worth it if you want to stretch out while you sleep.

I'm 6 foot, so it might make a little difference...Does JB offer anything different in terms of snacks/drinks in front or back?

Unless there is Mint on the flight, it's all one-class service. EMS gets the same beverage and snack options as the rest of the plane.

I should add, on long flights the snack basket will usually be left out in the rear galley if you want more of the free offerings.
