Refunds on Extra-Space Cancellations

I recently cancelled a B6 reservation for which I had used 400 points to claim an extra-space seat. The payment for the booking was refunded quickly to my "travel bank," but the 400 points were not refunded.

I called B6 and was told their system doesn't know how to handle refunds of points for seats. These refunds have to be made over the phone. (They need to fix their system.)

I don't know how it's different, but when I booked an EMS seat with points and then changed to another EMS seat, it shows up as another charge combined with a cancellation of the previous charge, so there's definitely *some* way they can do cancellation of point charges

I would call the Mosaic line and they can fix it.

I did call them; that's how I learned about the system problem. They did fix it.
