Mosaic Base Points vs. Base Flight Points

Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like Jetblue made a change whereby only points gained from flights count towards Mosaic earning status. It seems to me that stays at Marriott last year counted towards this as well. I believe they used to say "Base points" as opposed to "Base Flight Points". Am I wrong?

Welcome to FlyerTalk!

I do not believe hotel earnings last year were considered "Base Points" in any way.

From the very beginning of the Mosaic program it was and continues to be 3 points per flight dollar towards status. No non flight points ever counted towards Mosaic. The have had a few double points promos-- though this year the early January one they had in the past has not been announced for this year.
