JetBlue hosting a magnificent event in Los Angeles. A small group of its top tier Mosaic frequent flyers are treated to a night of gastronomic greatness with the chef who will be curating the future JetBlue Mint premium menu.
Celebrated Chef Ludo a Frenchman who finds his feet as comfortably planted as an Angelino is used to pleasing the palates of Hollywood elites. In NYC, you go for the food. In L.A. you go to see who's eating the food. Successful L.A. chefs know how to make the food experience the star again while cutting through the nonsense. Chef Ludo shapes the next version of extraordinary food onboard in the JetBlue Mint premium service.
JetBlue's invention of an affordable premium cabin experience called Mint has disrupted premium travel in the US airline industry. Mint is so successful after 2 years that the airline is expanding into a number of new cities in 2017.
JetBlue Mint is now widely known to create the best onboard experience over all other legacy airlines on the transcon market.
Chef Ludo follows the well-established anchor, New York City's Saxon + Parole, the culinary launch partner for JetBlue Mint.
My better half and I had our third date 12 years ago at Chef Ludo's celebrated restaurant Bastide. His creative food is even better today at his new restaurants.
Bravo to the team at JetBlue for truly doing their homework to understand what it takes to create a premium experience. You nailed it with Saxon + Parole. And now, Chef Ludo will only raise the bar again.
It's exceptional from start to finish. Nicely done.

Has anyone here been to one of these events? I know they do them in NY as well. I'm curious as to what the criteria is to determine a "Top Tier Mosaic". Is it based on mileage, revenue, or B6 Executive subjectivity?
One of the members of the leadership team was bragging about one of these events on twitter a few months ago and I asked him the same question and he wouldn't provide a straight answer. So that's why I'm questioning it.
