How long for points to post?

New to JetBlue's TrueBlue program. How long does it take points to post? I flew them on Tuesday - 4 days ago - and still nothing. thoughts?

sbm12 Sep 19, 2015 1:15 pm

I have been getting them about 5-7 days later lately. Not a huge deal except that they send a "thanks for flying" email which mentions the points. And then I go check my account and the points are not there yet. A bit annoying.

RoughAir Sep 26, 2015 6:01 pm

Flew MCO-BOS on Sep 15.

Still waiting (Sep 26) for points to post. Usually 5-7 days.

Dodge DeBoulet Sep 27, 2015 8:04 am

BOS->RDU on the 14th and RDU->BOS on 17th. Neither have posted yet (September 27th).

escapefromnyc004 Sep 27, 2015 10:32 am

Points normally post in 5-7 days, but every few months they "upgrade their systems" and it causes delays. A few months ago some people (including myself) had to wait ~ a month for points. My September 11th flight posted in the normal timeframe, but my September 14th flight hasn't posted. My guess is that they are having more IT issues.

Don't bother calling them until the 15th day because they only guarantee to post points within 14 days. I will call them on the 29th if I still don't have my points.

jasondc Sep 29, 2015 9:26 am

now i'm annoyed

it's been two weeks since I flew and nothing. I flew on the 15th and nothing. I also took two flights last week - one on the 21st and one on the 25th. nothing. I get that sometimes there can be a tech glitch, but this is just annoying. I fly UA a lot and their 2-3 day lag in posting miles is annoying. This is beyond.

RWPrincess Sep 29, 2015 3:11 pm

I'm still waiting for points from a MCO-JFK flight on Sep. 12. I just submitted a request and the screen I got back tells me to check back in 12 days!?! I got my points for the leg out on Sep. 8 but nothing for Sep. 12.

On another note, I've been fighting them for my AmEx Badge since July. I keep getting told that either they submitted the request or to check back in a few days. Since when is the onus on the paying customer? Terrible system.

Kufat Sep 29, 2015 3:37 pm

I flew RT 9/4-14. The points posted in about a week for the outbound leg, but the return leg still hasn't posted as of today (day 15, that is.)

JohnWM Oct 1, 2015 7:32 pm

Flight of Sept 13, 2015: still not posted

I had a flight on Sun. Sept. 13 of this year; to date (Oct 1) the True Blue points still have not posted.

I have NEVER had an instance where flights posted in only 5 to 7 days, as claimed here.

RoughAir Oct 1, 2015 10:03 pm

Still waiting for my Sep 15 MCO-BOS flt to be posted (Oct 1).

jasondc Oct 2, 2015 9:33 pm

now it's ridiculous

Okay - now this is ridiculous. I've gotten credit for two flights I simply did not take - I didnt fly the flights but now I just got points for these flights I did not fly. But I have not gotten credit for the last 4 segments I took legitimately. what is wrong with this airline???

Dodge DeBoulet Oct 3, 2015 10:06 am

I called the Mosaic number yesterday and asked what was going on. Apparently they're implementing a new back-end and they're roughly 1-2 weeks behind in getting the points moved over to the the new system and catching up on points that have been accrued since then.

That seems to be the running excuse every time they are asked about it.

Two flights (booked separately) taken on 9/26 did not post. One flight taken on 9/29 posted already. I have zero confidence in the system to correctly post the EMS seat points even if the flights post eventually.

Dodge DeBoulet Oct 4, 2015 9:00 am

Well, my points from the 9/28 BOS->RDU flight posted within the last 24 hours, but no such luck for the 9/14 and 9/17 flights. I went ahead and submitted missing miles requests for them just to be on the safe side.

Kufat Oct 5, 2015 10:22 am

My 9/14 flight has now posted.

mikeef Oct 5, 2015 10:51 am

Also waiting on 9/17 points.

Mike

diburning Oct 5, 2015 7:55 pm

9/26 x2 still have not posted. 9/29 posted as mentioned before, badge awarded, extraneous badge also awarded, EMS points not posted yet :(

Dodge DeBoulet Oct 6, 2015 5:58 am

Looks like I'm caught up, with the exception of the 10/1 RDU->BOS flight. Two more RTs to RDU and Mosaic is renewed. I actually might do it in one from PWM instead, but I hate to connect (especially at JFK).

ProfessAW Oct 6, 2015 10:12 pm

Flights on 9/16, 9/21, and 9/30 all have NOT posted.
9/30 flight will make me Mosaic

100% true. I had a similar problem back in February and was getting the same excuse about specific dates having an issue.

My 9/8 and 9/12 flights have now posted however, my 9/23 and 9/27 flights have not. Still no AmEx badge either.

MSYtoJFKagain Oct 7, 2015 6:27 am

Both of my flights from two weeks ago haven't posted yet.

I did a JFK->ORD RT over this weekend that hasn't posted either but I'm still within the "5-7 business days".

I haven't able to adjust a single part of my reservations without calling the Mosaic line. The website has lost all functionality besides making a new res and choosing your seat the first time.

escapefromnyc004 Oct 8, 2015 10:55 am

If you need your points quickly in order to book a flight call them and they will manually add it. You have to wait until the 15th day though. I was able to get them to add my 9/14 flight, but I am still waiting on my 9/26 flight.

I agree. I constantly have issues and have to watch my points like a hawk to make sure I get everything I have earned. Once I had 2 different flight itineraries for the SAME flight on the same reservation (they made a change and had me do a layover in a different city, but never deleted the original itinerary). I literally had no idea what time to show up or which airport my layover was in. After the issue didn't fix itself in a few days I had to call in again. It wasn't actually fixed...they just told me which 2 of the 4 flights listed were mine. I wish they could reinvest some of their profits to fix their IT issues!

diburning Oct 12, 2015 6:12 pm

17 days later, my two one-ways taken on 9/26 have posted. That helped me hit a few bonuses (high five) and got me a few badges that rewarded points.

Still no EMS points for my flight on 9/29. I'll give it another week or so before I harass them on twitter.

Dodge DeBoulet Oct 13, 2015 10:07 am

My one missing flight (RDU->BOS) on 10/1 finally posted sometime within the last 24 hours. Next week's flight will renew Mosaic for 2016.

I should hit Platinum on Marriott within the next month, and I hit Gold on HHonors through an Amex Business Platinum promotion. Jeez, I'm practically a frequent traveler again! :D

Deaglan McEachern May 26, 2016 12:21 pm

I took the flight that would have qualified me for Mosaic 8 days ago. Still hasn't posted. Can Jetblue give me Mosaic status while their system is playing catch up? I've already flown a couple of times since then, and for my next flight my wife and I have bags and are looking to change to an earlier flight. Mosaic would be great.

They probably can. Call and ask. No guarantees, but decent chance it works out.

Yes they can. They did it for me instantly via Twitter last year. ;)

Bumping this thread that I started two years ago to now. How long is it taking points to post these days? I Took a flight on Sunday and still nothing. What should I expect?

Flights are posting 7-9 days for me. I'm Mosaic. Credit card rebates / Even More Space rebates post next day after flight. Any same day change flights post 12-14 days after the flight. Very hard to follow and keep up with. I've had to call multiple times when flights just don't post (or post for the wrong amount), even when credit card and Even More Space rebates post correctly

diburning Sep 14, 2017 1:00 am

My flight last month posted within 5 days. Flew on Monday, and it was already posted when I checked on Saturday.

Meanwhile, over at Delta, their flights post within an hour of boarding.

jasondc Sep 14, 2017 9:14 am

okay....

This is all good to know. I've flown B6 several times in the two years since I originally posted this and really never noticed the delay before this most recent trip. I'm use to points on UA posting within two days of a flight (which still seems long), but I guess I just hadnt realized how long it takes jetBlue to post points. So odd.

pony_trekker Sep 3, 2018 7:15 am

This is weak. Has been taking 7-10 days for B6 points to post. I kind of need to keep track as I check to see where I am status-wise for various programs (and adjust flights accordingly) this time of year.

amm Aug 18, 2020 6:51 am

I flew BOS-SEA 8/6-9 and am still waiting for points to post. Still within the two weeks, but this is wild. I normally fly American (which has not great IT) and flights post within 24 hours.

Pickles Nov 3, 2023 7:33 pm

Well, my last two flights, both simple one-ways on B6 metal, B6 ticket stock, bought from the B6 website while signed in my account, did not post in the first two weeks. Submitted requests, still "pending." This is pretty pathetic...

TravelinSperry Nov 11, 2023 9:12 am

Jeez, JetBlue takes a long time to post miles... 5 days later and still nada. used to other airlines that are within 1-2 days. Is this normal?

diburning Nov 11, 2023 10:42 pm

Unfortunately yes

zebranz Nov 16, 2023 9:44 pm

And does that mean I should set the calendar for 20-30 days for Jet Blue to post to Hawaiian Airlines?

It just gets better. One of them is still "Pending" and the other one has been "rejected." As part of the process, I uploaded an image of the boarding pass, which doesn't have my TrueBlue number on it, but it does say "TRUE BLUE" on the upper left hand corner. I also have the ticket receipt listing my number. How do I get these clowns to post the miles? Should I file again using the ticket receipt this time?

n2qmt Dec 20, 2023 8:04 am

Data point... Flew B6 JFK-SAN on 11/30 booked through B6 app while logged in. Nothing posted after 2 weeks. Put in Missing points request 12/15 and still waiting.

Now the kicker... I am currently a couple of tiles shy of 100. This flight would give me 1 tile (I know, cheap flight indeed). I spoke to customer service just now and they "see" the flight yet can't do anything with it AND they could NOT guarantee that if it posted in January that the tile earned would count for 2023. It might go to 2024.

B6 really needs to get this fixed!
