Status match or challenge
I'm a Delta Platinum Medallion and American Platinum currently, but I will be taking a few B6 flights in October.
I searched for status match and challenge threads, but I didn't find anything recent.
Are there any current offers for either of the above programs, to earn Mosaic status?
Thanks!

I didn't request anything, but just received the following challenge via email:

Yeah I'd agree. I just received this as well and haven't flown with them in at least 5 years.

Hi sbm12 -
Yes, I know that the seat adjustments are coming in 2016. I used to fly a combination of AS and B6 for almost all of my flying. I would make MVPG + Mosaic. Both were handy for no change fees. The combination of the two gave good N/S coverage on both coasts along with good midcon / transcon service. I added the rare WN flight only as a last resort.
When B6 announced their changes, I modified my travel to become G75 on Alaska, using AA (and free Main Cabin Extra) to replace my B6 flying. As G75 on Alaska, I either get upgraded or get an exit row seat.
If B6 would give complimentary EMS seating (really, no different than giving complimentary MCE on AA), then I would be Mosaic with them again.

Mosaic challenge
Has anyone had any luck having another airline match the Mosaic status (ie to DL Silver)? Just curious . In theory I good get mosaic status again by doing a Mint Run to SFO but I am not sure it is worth doing. It would cost 1000$ (I have a jetblue credit ) and I would get 20000 points (15K from mosaic + 5K 6 B6 flights) (which I value at about 300$) and the free change fees (I value at 100$),
Even More Speed (50$) , free luggage (64$), more points (25$). Its a better investment than the stock market though.

Can i spend 3750 on the jetblue amex to meet the mosaic challenge or do i have to fly 1250$ worth of flights?
Edit: I don't think you can. You need to earn Trueblue base points. All Amex trueblue points are treated as a transfer and are not true blue base points.

B6 challenge
You need 1250 base points. It cannot be done using Amex . It can be done using a round trip Mint fare to SFO or LAX . For the matching UA requires 2500( or 3000) $ for Silver so I do not think B6 Mosaic will match. I am curious to see if anyone has tried.

I guess I understand the "I should get something extra for free" theory, but more important to me is odds of being comfortable on the flight, regardless of how I got there and if others get the same thing.
