Accumulating points while trying to hit a moving target
My biggest gripe about TrueBlue is never knowing how many points I need for a redemption.
I've been focused on a trip to San Jose, Costa Rica. A month ago, on the exact same day I reached the sufficient number of points in my account for a redemption, it crept up from 12,600 each way to 13,200. Another 10 days later it moved up to 14,800.
I'm looking at a variety of dates at the very end of their availability calendar in early 2016. Quite frustrating when I'm looking to redeem for 3 tickets...it ends up being a substantial jump in points needed.
Okay, I feel better now, got that off my chest!

Same issue here. I just factor in a 'safety buffer' of xxxxx miles and hope that covers any fare increases. As the other poster said, welcome to revenue-based redemption. But it is what it is.....
