Compensation

If a flight is delayed in arrival, do you get compensation? Or is it only if the flight is delayed in departure?

My flight from SJU to TPA was supposed to land 3:20 PM, but it made a detour to MCO to refuel before landing at 5:50 PM in TPA.

Thanks in advance for all experts here.

I don't think that B6 will fight with you about the length of the delay, but note that the customer service gesture is for "controllable" delays. While you have not provided the reason for the diversion, it can safely be assumed that it was due to WX/ATC or some factor outside B6's control. Would not expect anything for that.

But, you may want to thank B6 for keeping you safe.
