I wanted to buy the chia seed pudding breakfast item but they sold out by the time the flight attendant got to preparing my food, so he gave me the yogurt parfait instead.

Perhaps a silly question, but haven't flown Mint yet...Husband has a food allergy (not a super common one), so while he may be mostly fine eating from the "regular" menu, he may want to pick an option from one of the other specialty menus if he gets stuck. Can you "mix and match" from different menus? Happy to call ahead to request, but not sure if we need an entire meal from Plane Eats, etc.

Unfortunately I do not believe the special menus are catered unless pre-ordered. A Flight Attendant might let you replace something that you have pre-ordered, but I wouldn't expect it and they will probably tell you to wait and see if they have leftovers of the other dish

Correct, you have to call in any special meal requests at least 48 hours ahead of your departure time, otherwise catering will not have it prepped for the flight.
i would call back to confirm the meal request at 50 hours before departure ... my friends called in their meal requests minutes before the 48 hour cutoff, and their plane eats request did not make it to catering.

Thanks for the response. Do the menus come out in advance? We're travelling on the 1st of the month (I believe the menus switch monthly), so want to make sure we have time to review the menus and call for a special meal if we need to.

The new menus don’t show up on JetBlue’s website until the first of each month. I had the same issue flying on the 1st of May, so I contacted JetBlue and they sent me a screenshot of the May lunch/dinner menu.

June 2018 Redeye Menu

Apologies for the lighting and sizing ...

Sorry about the blue light, but it was a redeye!

Vodka-Tonic, ice cream, meatball sandwich and corn salad.

Not being a fan of gazpacho, I had them skip it for me. The meatball sandwich and corn were a pretty good combination. Earl Grey ice cream a bit of a disconnect as I kept expecting vanilla instead at first, but it was pretty good.
Wasn't a fan of the pumpernickel breakfast bagel, though the carrot-ginger juice wasn't bad.
Carfield likes this.

How were they? They look good in the pictures but those are mighty ambitious dishes.

Sea bass was delicious but it is a repeated dish.
Lemon chicken was okay.
But the pulled pork rice roll was bad - the pulled pork has no seasoning and dried out during the reheating process. The mayonnaise made it worst. It needs soy sauce more than mayonnaise. JetBlue should retire this entree.

Fish is actually getting to be a stronghold for JetBlue's mint menu.

Good to know. Have an upcoming flight with that menu and was thinking of getting the pulled pork. Guess I will settle for Watermelon, Sea Bass, and Chicken

Loved Sea Bass and Watermelon Salad. My chicken dish was over cooked so potatoes lost flavor and broccolini was brown
