Generally speaking we do not allow the folding aluminum style walkers in the aircraft because they usually do not fit in the overhead bins and we don't have any closet space. What we do is put a pink "Claim at Gate" tag on it and it gets stowed in the cargo bin for the flight. Once the flight is complete it gets returned to you on the jetbridge. If you are worried about his mobility during the flight we do have aisle chairs that are available if needed.
