Lost iPad

A bit of a Hail Mary here:

My partner's mother left her iPad (in a Lilac, padded case) on yesterday's B6 33 flight from BTV to JFK. The plane went on to CHS. She's left messages at the lost and found at both JFK and CHS. No luck so far.

If anyone has other advice...or finds the iPad...

Thanks!

I presume you did not have "wheres my ipad" activated. If so (at least in the US) if it still has power and is not shut down (assuming it has cellular capability), go to the apple web site.

I left my iPad in a seat back, was able to activate "find my iPad" before it went dead, and "found" it in the SEA US lost and found. Called and it was returned to me.

If you do not have the "find" option, suggest you call the airline, determine the route of the plane, and call each lost and found along the flight path.

Note to all - ACTIVATE THE FIND MY IPAD-IPOD-IPHONE-I whatever.. They work.

Unfortunately, she didn't have that installed. But thanks for the advice! I'll have her call on to the next airports, as well.
