Question regarding Fall promotion and change flight fee.

Hey there.

I used the Fall promotion to book a flight from SFO to JFK, but I booked the wrong flight time. Since I booked my flight on the last day of the promotion, I'm wondering if I can still get the promotion once I call JetBlue for a same-day flight change the next day? Or will they charge me the regular fare?

Thanks.

Don't really know what you mean by fall promotion but if you just booked it, I would call jetBlue and explain your situation and see if they can either cancel your just booked reservation or change it to the new flight time assuming the fare is the same. If you booked it more than 24 hours ago and the fare is over $100, you pay the $100 change fee and if the new fare is higher you will pay any difference in the fare as well.

To be fair, the online booking error window to get a fee waiver is 4 hours, not 24.

Correct. I've had to deal with JetBlue regarding this issue and was shocked now they don't offer the same 24 hour cancellation window that even legacy carriers (like US Airways offer).

A word to the wise: if you want to fly JetBlue but think your plans may change within 24 hours, book via Orbitz, which allows a 'one day' cancellation window without fees & refunds the $ directly back to your credit card.
