Security at JFK in the am

I am thinking of booking a 730 am flight from JFK. If I arrive at 6am is that enough time to get thru security ? I genrally fly in the afternoons and everything has been quick at that time.

Absolutely. Even if it takes you 40 minutes to get through security - and that's more than triple the time I've ever spent in any security line ever - you'd still have plenty of time to get to Dunkin' and then to the gate.

That should be plenty of time to get through security. But the lines to check-in or drop bags can be kind of long at that time-- I'd suggest doing OLCI.
